ILÁ: Ancestral Legacy

Our Journey begins in 2017, when we discovered this amazing amazonic crop. We began buying from small producers and re selling this products at local markets and fit markets. Rapidly, we saw we where the only brand that was offering this products to the mainstream, which is obviously and advantage but it is of course a challenge as we had the whole resposibility to make sacha inchi products known to the common public.

As we saw popularity started growing we decided to start our own crop, for the sole purpose of being self sufficient, but our project came to crumbles as our crop burned due to an unexpected wild fire that left us with nothing only 15 days afetr our first harvest. This left us devastated at the begining but also left a very big opportunity we haven't seen before, helping communities that already had the crop producing.

Doing this, we discovered that many of these communities where located in regions which have been affected the most by the armed conflict in our country. We started not only buying from this communities, but signing contracts that ensured that every single kilogram harvested in their land will be bought from our end, eliminating the risk they had of not having clients whenever they havested.

Since then, we have not only helped this communities, but also we have worked with ex-guerrilla combatants that wanted to erradicate ilegal crops (marihuana, cocaine, ect) and replace them with sacha inchi among other crops. All this to say we are a company that cares not only about its own benefit, but of its community and ultimately our beautiful and beloved country.
